Now I am not going to show you some kind of black hat method that is going to get you 1000′s of backlinks by clicking your mouse.
We don’t like them methods anyway and they will just come and bite you on your bum some day. So lets all try and keep things clean!! It is a very simple way of getting a backlink from your own blog, just by commenting in a slightly different way. So I have made a very short video to explain how to do this.
You will need a plugin to do this. There is a free and a paid version. It is called Comment Luv and Andy Baily the developer of the plugin has just released the Comment Luv Premium version to the public this week.
He is only making it available for one week at a discounted rate. If you are not sure what the premium version can offer you then I will let Andy tell you all about it from his video below. He told me that he just chucked it together one weekend.
But I think he spent all week on it trying to perfect it! With Andy being the developer he can explain things a whole lot better than me, so I will hand you on over to the man himself

Hi Craig. A few month back I used to think it was silly to give yourself CommentLuv on my own blog. Then it dawned on me one day that to the contrary it’s one of the smartest things you can do. This way to can link to the other posts on your blog that you didn’t do already in the post, PLUS people can see your profile. Now that we have CommentLuv premium we can track those clicks and I tell you I get a bunch of them on my own blog! Cool video – I added you as a friend on YouTube too. Cheers!

At first I thought it was just a blatant tack tick to spam your own blog. But as you mentioned it is a real good way to track links and see what your visitors are actually clicking on and of course encourage visitors to stay on your blog and check out other useful post’s

I always use my CommentLuv links in my replies to comments in my own blog and I choose the link I share based on what I believe that commenter would be most interested in.

Hi Craig, Thanks for sharing this and the video. I had underestimated the power of auto back links. Getting backlink from once own blog can help internal linking better, especially for the fact that having many links from the homepage is not advisable.

Hi Craig, I hope that you’re well mate.
I did start doing this some time ago but for some reason I stopped and carried on replying via the dashboard. Don’t ask me why as i have no idea mate, kick up the pants on that one and time to re-think it
I’ve just bought the commentluv premium and think it’s fantastic. However i do have a concern with the commentluvvers widget that comes with it. For some reason the text displayed is in 3 different sizes and 2 different font types and because of this I have removed it from my sidebar
Once I find how to change the display settings and get it looking pretty i’ll have it back in place

I think this is a perfectly legitimate way to get links, i.e. not black hat in any way. In my opinion this is a different way of building internal links. And there are no restrictions to internal linking as far as I know. We can use this tip safely, thanks for sharing!

Looks very good, thanks for sharing this info with us. Right now I’m using the free version and have been creating back links on comments I leave from my commentators of my other recent blog posts.
It’s wise to do this because it only helps in getting your older posts seen when otherwise they would have get been overlooked.
I can surly recommend to anyone to check out your video, you’ve done a great job explaining it. It really helps and it’s good to do.
When my head is a little clearer and have some time, will check into the paid version.

I just wonder how amazing this new discovery of this Commentluv plug ins. It sort of a give and take process of the commenter and the blogger. This is a legitimate backlink as I can see. I have been using comment luv and still enjoying up to now the use of it.

The keywordluv plugin is incorporated with the commentluv premium plugin. Infact you can get rid of 6 or I think even 7 plugins if you use the premium version

Yeah, I think this is a good way to share some of your other posts.
I’m new here, but I’ve spent some time on Gail and Ileane’s blogs and I always check the title of what they are linking to in the comments, and I’ve found some burried gems that way. Great for the reader.

Ileane is a true blogger and you can kind find out a lot if you keep up with all the information she provides over at her site. Mind you she keeps updating with her own content or from a lot of guest bloggers.
