Welcome to my blog. This is a new starting point for me on my journey into the Internet Marketing world. I am using this blog to tell you how I am going to achieve things on the net.
I have tried to use the Internet as an extra income along side my offline business. I have my own construction business which is doing well but hell you have to put the work in. Just this last week I have been working all day and night to keep customers happy and earn just that bit more. To pay for a summer holiday, and try and get on top of all the bills and keep the wolves from the door!!!
But going out in the morning when my family is sleeping then getting home on a night and they are in bed is not really the lifestyle I wanted when I started my own offline business. So when I heard that you can earn a great living on the net with not much work I jumped at the chance.
I did come online about 5 years ago thinking, Yeah I want a piece of this pie let me in. I attended seminars bought many products and really did not have the correct focus or direction. I was spending more than I was earning well actually I was not even earning anything online. I think when many people come online they expect this magic button to press and you are in the money. Well sorry to let you down but there is not one!!! So I gave up and left it all behind.
Forward on to today and I am back online with a new focus and direction. It is a real business and not just some hobby. It does take work, but not as demanding and physical as my offline business. Which by the way is causing havoc on my body, if I don’t slow down soon I think I will be booking myself in to the local funeral directors.
I am taking the right steps learning the correct way and will become a full time Internet Marketer by 1st Jan 2011. There I said it. This is my first major goal. To become a full time Internet Marketer by Jan 2011. Now how do I achieve this goal. Well stay with me and I will keep you informed of what I am doing. What is working and not working.
I now have a plan and know what I will be doing to become a full time Internet Marketer. I am with a couple of training programmes which I am dedicated too and have a mentor to help me along the way called Alex Jefferys and Adam Short. Having a mentor has really giving me a kick up the backside and learning from someone who is already successful has definitely been a turning point for my online business. So stay with me and keep coming back to this blog and see how my roller coaster ride on Internet Marketing is doing.

Hi Craig
Like you I am one of Alex’s students and have been feeling a little loney at the back so glad someone else is trailing a little as well. Like your blog sounds just like me too, I have been lucky with my blog set up got a lot of help from Dorothy in the forum, now playing catch up.

Just read through your first blog post. What dedication and tenacity you have to continue forward with your online business after five years of effort. My hat is off to you!
I like the way you’ve focused on getting online full-time by Jan. 2011. You’ve obviously got your hands full, building two businesses and a family depending on you. So hang in their you’re doing the right things, and it will pay off.

I am surprised that you have had the time to get your blog up and running with everything else that you have going with a family and another business too. Congratulations! I just put the final touches on my blog yesterday so you are way ahead of me.

Craig you wrote this post quite some time back. Did you make your goal?
I’ll start reading your blog from here to see how it went. It’s very inspiring.
It’s great that you take action, and not just complain how hard you have to work and don’t have time to spend with your family. Taking action will get you anywhere you want.
